Northern Railway has invited bids for the construction of four road over bridges (ROBs) under its Road Safety Projects Unit (RSPU) in New Delhi.
The project, valued at ₹192.44 crore, involves the design and construction of two-lane ROBs along with approach roads to replace existing level crossings across key railway routes in Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir.
The scope includes construction of a ROB at level crossing S-4 between Jalandhar City and Jamsher Khas stations on the Jalandhar City–Nakodar section in Firozpur Division, and another at LC B-67-A (Guru Nanak Pura crossing) on the Sahnewal–Amritsar section. In the Jammu Division, ROBs will be built at LC B2-54 and LC S-51 between Bari Brahman and Vijaypur stations on the Pathankot–Jammu Tawi and Bhrl–Jat sections, respectively.
The deadline for submission of bids is May 20, 2026.
